When setting up or upgrading your Luno account, we may need to verify your mobile phone number. This is to help secure your Luno account.
Our primary system --sending you a one time code via SMS-- works perfectly well for the majority of our customers. We have had some complaints in recent weeks about slow mobile network providers, resulting in messages being delayed or not delivered at all.
You can now request to receive your mobile number verification code via a phone call instead of an SMS.
