Where can I access the Luno webpage?

Just visit If you go to, you’ll be redirected to the Luno webpage.

Can I continue to use my current BitX mobile wallet app?

Yes, you can. Some features will automatically change to Luno, but to get the full Luno experience we strongly advise you to update your app through Google Play or the App Store.

How do I deposit money now?

All our bank accounts are currently still registered as BitX. Please continue to make your deposits as per usual, with the name of the recipient being BitX.  Don’t forget to add your unique reference number, it stays the same! For more information on deposits, see this help page

When you make a withdrawal, your bank statement will also still show the name BitX.

Are there any changes to my account?

No. Your account level, unique reference number, promotion code etc. all stay the same. There are no changes for you except great new features, a new name and an improved design!

Is my Bitcoin safe?

Why did BitX change their name to Luno?
