What is an order book?
An order book is a real-time list of all outstanding buy and sell orders for an asset on an exchange. It shows the prices and quantities that people are willing to trade at.
How it works
The order book is where buyers and sellers meet, with the highest bid and lowest ask setting the current market. A deep order book usually signals strong liquidity.
