Luno (Pty) Ltd has agreed to offer a Promotion to Luno customers. Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Rewards and Promotions Rules, and the Luno Bitcoin Starter Pack terms and conditions, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when participating in this Promotion (the “Rules”).

What is the Bitcoin Starter Pack?

The Bitcoin Starter Pack is a voucher to the value of R100.00 or R250.00 that can be used by new and existing Luno customers to redeem Bitcoin on Luno’s platform. The Bitcoin Starter Pack will be available for purchase at participating Incredible Connection stores across South Africa. 

New customers: 

The Bitcoin Starter Pack can be redeemed by opening an account with Luno, either via the Luno website or by downloading the Luno app on the Huawei AppGallery, Google Play or the Apple Store. Once your account has been opened, the Bitcoin Starter Pack can be redeemed by accessing the “rewards” tab on the Luno app or website and entering the code on the Bitcoin Starter Pack. 

Existing customers: 

The Bitcoin Starter Pack can be redeemed by accessing the “rewards” tab on the Luno app or website and entering the code on the Bitcoin Starter Pack.

Eligibility

The Bitcoin Starter Pack may only be used by South African citizens / residents that are over the age of 18.

Return / Refunds

The Bitcoin Starter Pack may not be returned or refunded.

Limitation of Use

The Bitcoin Starter Pack may only be used to redeem Bitcoin. 

Customers are limited to a maximum of 10 (ten) redemptions of the Bitcoin Starter Pack. Once this limit has been reached, the customer will be prohibited from redeeming any further Bitcoin Starter Packs.

Limitation of Liability

Luno is not responsible for the loss, theft or destruction of the Bitcoin Starter Pack or if the Bitcoin Starter Pack is redeemed without the customer’s permission.

Promotion Period

Luno has made 1300 Bitcoin Starter Packs available to participating Incredible Connection stores across South Africa. The Bitcoin Starter Packs will be available for purchase for the period between 13 September 2023 to 29 February 2024, or for as long as stocks last.

Expiry

The Bitcoin Starter Pack will expire on 30 June 2027.  Customers will not be able to redeem the Bitcoin Starter Pack after this date. Luno is not responsible for a customer’s failure to redeem their Bitcoin Starter Pack before this expiration date.
