Luno Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.(“Luno”) has agreed to run a prize giveaway campaign where Luno customers can win prizes (the “Giveaway”). Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and the general Rewards and Promotions Rules to participants who sign up to Luno, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when participating in the Giveaway (the “Rules”). You agree to accept any decision made by Luno in terms of these Rules as final and binding.
Giveaway Details: Customers who meet the Eligibility criteria below (the “Participant”) will be entered into the following draw categories to win one of the following prizes:
Main Draw (Selected at the end of the Giveaway Period):
1st prize/Grand prize: Tesla Model 3 Standard Rear-Wheel Drive
2nd prize: MacBook Pro M5 Standard
3rd prize: iPhone 17 Pro
Weekly Draw (Selected weekly throughout the Giveaway Period):
Weekly Prize: RM100 worth of BTC (five winners selected per week)
The Grand Prize (Tesla Model 3) value excludes Insurance, Road Tax, and Registration Fees, which are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize is based on the 'Standard Rear-Wheel Drive' model available at the time of awarding; Luno is not responsible for any changes in vehicle specifications or manufacturer price fluctuations.
The RM100 worth of BTC will be calculated based on the Luno exchange rate at the exact time of disbursement into the winner's wallet.
Giveaway Period: The Giveaway will commence on 4th May 2026 12.00 am (GMT+8) until 23rd August 2026, 11:59 pm (GMT+8) (“Giveaway Period”). For the purpose of the Weekly Draw, a "week" is defined as Monday 00:00 AM to Sunday 11:59 PM (GMT+8).
Eligibility: Participation in the Giveaway is limited to Luno’s customers who are residents in Malaysia. All customers must have verified their identity to at least level 3 and must otherwise be compliant with Luno’s Terms of use (“Participants”). You will be excluded from the Giveaway if (i) you participate in the Giveaway using fake or fraudulent details, (ii) you have won a prize in the past 12 months during any previous giveaway, promotion or referral competition run by Luno or (iii) you fail to maintain an account in Good Standing (not flagged for AML/fraud) at the time of the draw.
Participation Conditions: To participate in the Giveaway, participants are required to adhere to the following processes:
Sign up: if you are new to the Luno platform, sign up for a Luno account during the Giveaway Period and get your account successfully verified.
Promo code: new and existing Luno customers must click the “Rewards” tab and then enter the promo code JOMINVEST
Instant Buy: Buy any of Luno’s supported cryptocurrencies worth RM 100 or higher from your Luno account, excluding the Luno exchange (a “Qualifying Trade”) during the Giveaway Period.
Entry Calculation: Each RM 100 spent = 1 entry.
Hard Cap: Each Participant is limited to a maximum of 200 entries in total for the entire Giveaway Period. Any Qualifying Trades made after reaching this limit will not result in additional entries.
Fractional Amounts: Purchases carry forward cumulatively. For example, two separate RM 50 buys = 1 entry.
Draw Qualification: Entries qualify for the Weekly Draw occurring in the week the RM 100 threshold is met. All entries accumulated throughout the campaign (up to the 200-cap) qualify for the Main Draw. Entries from previous weeks do not "roll over" into subsequent Weekly Draws.
Sequence: Only purchases made after entering the JOMINVEST promo code will count toward entries.
Selecting winners: Participants participating in the Giveaway will automatically be entered into the relevant draws.
Weekly Draw winners will be selected within [7] days of the end of each calendar week during the Giveaway Period via RANDOM.ORG.
Main draw winners will be randomly selected via RANDOM.ORG, after the conclusion of the Giveaway Period.
Selected winners will receive one prize only per draw category (i.e., a Participant may win a maximum of one Weekly Prize and one Main Draw Prize).
If a Participant is drawn more than once in the Main Draw, they will receive the prize of the highest value, and a redraw will occur for the remaining prize.
Participants whose Luno accounts are not in good standing or are suspected of "gaming" behavior (including Wash Trading (frequent buying followed by immediate selling or withdrawing of funds to artificially inflate entry counts), API manipulation, or the use of automated scripts). will be disqualified from the Giveaway, which shall be determined at Luno’s sole discretion.
By participating in this campaign, each Participant irrevocably consents to Luno and its authorised representatives capturing photographs, video recordings and other audiovisual material of the Participant in connection with the campaign, including at:
Prize presentation, collection and delivery events;
Winner announcement events and any livestreamed final draw; and
Any marketing, promotional or audit activities connected to the campaign.
Each Participant consents to Luno using their full name, partial identity information (e.g., “JOHN DOE - xxxxxx-xx-1234”), photograph, video, likeness and campaign-related statements for the following purposes, without compensation to the Participant:
Publication on Luno's official social media platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and others);
Publication on Luno's website and the JOMINVEST campaign page;
Internal and external marketing and promotional materials.
Contacting winners: Winners will be contacted directly via email within 2 days of the announcement of winners. Luno is not liable for any winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email or other reasons. Should you be drawn as a winner, you may be required to complete a competition release form and provide valid identification prior to receiving the prize. If a winner’s identity cannot properly be verified, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 calendar days of the prize draw taking place, the relevant prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Announcing winners: Winners may be announced across any of Luno’s social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram and/or X, but Luno is not obliged to do so. If you are selected as a winner, you agree to Luno publishing your full name and partial identity information (e.g., “JOHN DOE - xxxxxx-xx-1234”) in accordance with clause 12 on the aforementioned social media pages.
Awarding the prizes: Prizes in physical form will be delivered to you via an appointed third-party logistic provider (e.g, CG COMPUTERS SDN BHD) and/or credited to the winner’s Luno wallet within 30 days of the announcement of the relevant winners. For the Grand Prize (Vehicle), the winner is solely responsible for all insurance, road tax, registration fees, number plate fees, and any other incidental costs. Luno is not responsible for manufacturer delivery lead times for the Grand Prize. Prizes cannot be transferred, sold or ceded to someone else and cannot be exchanged for cash or cryptocurrency. Luno reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of similar value without prior notice. All Bitcoin awards will be calculated using Luno’s BTC/ MYR exchange rate on the day and time of transfer, which shall be determined at Luno's sole discretion.
Subject to change: Luno reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, adjust or amend the Giveaway at any time.
Personal information: Any personal information provided to Luno for the purposes of the Giveaway (for example, your full name, address, telephone number and email address) will be treated strictly in accordance with Luno’s Privacy Policy and in accordance with clauses 6 and 7 above. All competition entries that sign-up to Luno and expressly agree to receive marketing, will be entered into a Luno marketing email database for Luno specific emails.
Governing law: These Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Malaysian law and any disputes arising from the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
