What is Bitcoin Cash?

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) was created in 2017 when Bitcoin split, or forked, over how to handle larger blocks. Supporters of bigger blocks formed a separate network aimed at cheaper, faster payments.

How it differs from Bitcoin

By using larger blocks, Bitcoin Cash can fit more transactions into each one, which its backers argue suits everyday spending. It shares much of Bitcoin’s early design but is a distinct asset with its own network and community.
