Indonesia GoPay Deposit Cashback Programme

PT Luno Indonesia Ltd (“Luno”) has agreed to offer the GoPay Deposit Cashback Programme (“Programme”) in conjunction with GoPay (“GoPay”) as its promotional partner to eligible Luno customers (“Customers/Participants”). Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and the general Rewards and Promotions Rules, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when participating in the GoPay Deposit Cashback Programme (the “Rules”). You agree to accept any decision made by Luno in terms of these Rules as final and binding.
Definitions and Interpretations
In these GoPay Deposit Cashback Programme Terms and Conditions:
“Cashback” means the incentive awarded under this Programme, calculated as a percentage of the Eligible Deposit Amount after any applied fees.
“Eligible Deposit” means a successful deposit of Indonesian Rupiah (“IDR”) made by a Customer into their Luno account via GoPay, in accordance with these Rules.
“Eligible Purchase” means a crypto purchase made using Luno’s Instant Buy feature for an amount equal to or greater than the Eligible Deposit.
“Eligible Deposit Amount” means the net IDR amount successfully credited to the Customer’s Luno account via GoPay, after deduction of any fees, charges, or reversals.
“IDR Wallet” means the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) denominated fiat wallet made available by Luno within the Platform, through which customers may deposit, hold, and withdraw IDR.
“Luno Instant Buy” means the feature provided by Luno that allows customers to purchase crypto instantly at a quoted price using a local currency wallet.
“Working Day” means a day (other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday) on which banks are open for business in Indonesia.
Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms have the meaning given to them in these Rules and the Terms of Use.
Programme Overview
Subject to these Rules, Customers may be eligible to receive Cashback equal to 0.5% (zero point five percent) of their Eligible Deposit Amount after any applied fees.
Cashback eligibility is conditional upon the Customer completing both:
an Eligible Deposit via GoPay; and
an Eligible Purchase using the Luno Instant Buy feature for an amount equal to or exceeding the Eligible Deposit Amount, within twenty-four (24) hours from the time the Eligible Deposit is successfully credited.
Cashback shall be credited in IDR to the Customer’s IDR Wallet on Luno and shall not be transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash outside the Luno platform.
Programme Period
The Programme shall commence on 4 March 2026 and shall continue until 31 March 2026, unless earlier amended, suspended, or terminated by Luno in accordance with clause 11 of these Rules.
Luno reserves the right to extend the Programme Period at its sole discretion.
Eligibility
Participation in the Programme is strictly limited to Customers who:
are fully verified Luno account holders as set out in our Terms of Use;
are registered Customers in Indonesia as set out in our Terms of Use; and
Who make an Eligible Deposit and an Eligible Purchase in accordance with these Rules
Luno reserves the right to determine eligibility at its sole discretion, and such determination shall be final and binding.
Multiple Participation
Customers may participate in the Programme and receive Cashback more than once during the Programme Period, provided that each participation independently satisfies all requirements set out in these Rules and in clause 4 above.
Each Eligible Deposit and corresponding Eligible Purchase shall be assessed separately for Cashback eligibility.
The completion of one Eligible Deposit and Eligible Purchase shall not limit or restrict the Customer’s ability to qualify for Cashback from subsequent Eligible Deposits and Eligible Purchases during the Programme Period.
Notwithstanding clause 5.1, Luno reserves the right to impose limits on participation, including per-Customer or per-account caps, where required to prevent abuse or comply with regulatory requirements.
Eligible Transactions
Only deposits made exclusively via GoPay shall constitute Eligible Deposits.
The Eligible Purchase must:
be executed using the Luno Instant Buy feature;
be completed within twenty-four (24) hours of the Eligible Deposit; and
be equal in value to the Eligible Deposit Amount.
Each Eligible Deposit may qualify for Cashback only once.
Ineligible Transactions
The following shall not qualify for Cashback:
deposits made using payment methods other than GoPay;
crypto purchases made via Exchange, limit orders, Instant Sell, or any non-Instant Buy feature;
purchases completed outside the 24-hour eligibility window;
partial purchases or purchases of a value less than the Eligible Deposit Amount;
reversed, cancelled, disputed, or refunded deposits;
internal transfers, withdrawals, or send/receive crypto transactions.
Reward Calculation and Distribution
Cashback shall be calculated as 0.5% of the Eligible Deposit Amount after deduction of any applied fees (“Programme Rewards”), regardless of whether the Eligible Purchase amount exceeds the Eligible Deposit Amount.
For the avoidance of doubt, if a Customer’s Eligible Purchase exceeds their Eligible Deposit Amount, the Cashback will be capped and calculated solely based on the value of the Eligible Deposit
Subject to verification and compliance with these Rules, Cashback shall be credited to the Customer’s IDR Wallet within five (5) Working Days after completion of both the Eligible Deposit and Eligible Purchase.
Luno shall not be liable for any delay or failure to credit Cashback due to system issues, third-party service disruptions, or events beyond Luno’s reasonable control.
Notwithstanding the Programme Rewards set out above, Luno reserves the right to adjust or reduce the Programme Rewards allocated to Customers at its discretion and at any time.
Example 1: If a Customer deposits IDR 20,000,000 via GoPay and, after fees, the net amount credited is IDR 19,600,000, and the Customer subsequently makes an Instant Buy purchase of IDR 50,000,000, the Cashback reward shall be IDR 98,000 (0.5% of the IDR 19,600,000 deposit).
Example 2: If a Customer deposits IDR 10,000,000 via GoPay and, after fees, the net amount credited is IDR 9,800,000, and the Customer subsequently makes an Instant Buy purchase of IDR 5,000,000, the Customer shall receive zero (0) Cashback.
The examples and figures above are for illustrative purposes only. Actual Cashback will be calculated based on the net IDR amount successfully credited to your Luno account after all applicable fees have been deducted.
Fees and Taxed
Fees are detailed in our Terms of Use and on the Luno Fees page. Please read through the Fees page on Luno’s website to familiarise yourself with the fees you may be charged for using our services. As the Cashback is calculated based on the net amount credited to your IDR Wallet, we encourage Participants to review these charges prior to making a deposit.
All transactions are subject to applicable Indonesian taxes, including PPh Article 22 (Final Income Tax) at a rate of 0.21% (or as amended by law) which Luno is required to withhold at source.
Abuse, Fraud, and Disqualification
Luno reserves the right to withhold, cancel, reverse, or claw back Cashback if Luno reasonably believes that the Programme has been abused, manipulated, or used in bad faith.
Such conduct may result in disqualification, account suspension, or termination.
Subject to change
Luno reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, adjust, or amend the Programme or its Rules at any time.
Governing Law
These Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Indonesian law and any disputes arising from the Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
Personal Information
Personal information will be processed in accordance with Luno’s privacy notice for the purpose of administering the Programme. You may exercise your right to object to Luno processing your personal information by submitting a request through our privacy rights webform.
Own Risk
To the extent permitted by law, Luno does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by the participants of the Programme or any third parties arising out of or in connection with participating in the Programme or accepting the Programme Rewards.
Language
These Rules are drafted in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and the Bahasa Indonesia version, the Bahasa Indonesia version shall prevail.
