Luno Price Predict is a competition which allows you to predict the Bitcoin price to stand a chance to win Bitcoin (“Price Predict”). Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of use and Privacy policy, you agree to be bound by these Rules when participating in Price Predict. You agree to accept any decision made by Luno in terms of these Rules as final and binding.

• Price Predict details
  Luno customers who meet the eligibility criteria below are each given a chance to earn Bitcoin (the “Prize”) by predicting what the price of Bitcoin will be at the end of the week (“Price Predict Weekly”) and/or at the end of the month (“Price Predict Monthly”). In these Rules the term “competition period” is used to refer to each separate one-month and one-week period individually.

• The price of Bitcoin at the end of each competition period will be determined from the Bitcoin price in US dollars shown in the Luno price chart at:

  • Price Predict Weekly: 12pm GMT/UTC on the Friday; and

  • Price Predict Monthly: 12pm GMT/UTC on the 28th day of the calendar month.

• Participation conditions
  Each eligible customer may submit one Bitcoin price prediction per competition period only. Price predictions must be given as an absolute US dollar value. Once a price prediction has been submitted it may not be changed.Price predictions for each competition period must be submitted within the following limited time periods:
  Price Predict Weekly: price predictions must be submitted between 7am GMT/UTC each Monday and 12pm GMT/UTC -each Monday each Wednesday; and 
  Price Predict Monthly: price predictions must be submitted between 7am GMT/UTC on the first day of each calendar month and 12pm on the fourteenth day of the same calendar month.

• Prizes and redemption conditions
  The Prize available in each competition period will be Bitcoin in the amount specified at the start of the competition period. Winners will be awarded a unique Prize which they may redeem in exchange for the specified amount of Bitcoin. If unclaimed, the Prize will expire three calendar months after the day it first becomes available for use, and will expire at 12pm on the relevant day. Redeemed Bitcoin will only be available for use after a 30 day period.

• Winners
  Subject to these Rules, the winner(s) in each competition period will be the customer(s) whose price prediction is closest to the Bitcoin price at the end of the competition period. This price prediction may be higher or lower than the Bitcoin price. If the closest price prediction in a competition period is made by more than one customer, multiple winners will be declared and the Prize will be shared equally between the winners.

• Notifying winners
  Winners for each competition period will be notified, via email, to the email address linked to their Luno account at:
  Price Predict Weekly: 6pm GMT/UTC on the Friday; and
  Price Predict Monthly: 6pm GMT/UTC on the 28th day of the calendar month.

• Eligibility and exclusions
  Participation in Price Predict is limited to customers with Level 3 or higher accounts situated within supported countries where Luno makes Price Predict available, and who are compliant with Luno’s Terms of use. Customers will be excluded from Price Predict if they are an employee of the Luno Group*, a partner to an employee of the Luno Group, or may otherwise be considered a related third party of the Luno Group.
  *Luno Group means Luno Group Holdings Ltd, together with Luno US, Inc. and any entity under the control and/or management of these entities, and any entity under the control and/or management of such other entity(ies) from time to time.Customers in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands are not eligible to participate in Price Predict.

• Subject to change
  Luno reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, adjust or amend Price Predict and these Rules, but will never change the terms of a Price Predict competition once the relevant competition period has already commenced.
