Indonesia Cashback Carnival Program Terms & Conditions
PT Luno Indonesia Ltd (“Luno”), has agreed to offer a Cashback Carnival Program for Luno Customers (“Program”). Without limiting the applicability of Luno’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and the general Rewards and Promotions Rules, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions when participating in the Cashback Carnival Program (the “Rules”). You agree to accept any decision made by Luno in terms of these Rules as final and binding.
1. Program Details
Eligible Customers who meet the minimum total Instant Transaction volume may earn cashback rewards (“Rewards”), as determined by Luno in its sole discretion, when they transact using Luno’s Instant Buy and Instant Sell feature (“Instant”). For the purposes of this Program, only successfully executed Instant Buy or Instant Sell orders via the Instant feature will be considered eligible “Transactions” for the calculation of Rewards.
Transactions not eligible for Rewards are listed in Section 5 (Ineligible Transactions).
2. Program Period
The Cashback Carnival Program will commence on 1 September 2025 and run until and including 31 December 2025.
3. Program Rewards
Subject to the limitations set out below, the Program Rewards will be calculated as follows:
3.1. Guaranteed Reward
Eligible Customers who satisfy the Eligibility Criteria and achieve the minimum total Instant Transaction volume for the relevant calendar month will receive a guaranteed cashback reward of IDR 100,000.
3.2. Additional Cashback Pool:
In addition to the Guaranteed Reward, Eligible Customers may receive a share of an Additional Cashback Pool ranging from IDR 20,000,000 up to IDR 100,000,000, (subject to the points below).
The allocation of the Additional Cashback Pool will be a randomised additional cashback, determined by Luno at its sole discretion.
The size of the Additional Cashback Pool will grow in proportion to the total number of Eligible Customers who achieve a minimum total Instant transaction volume.
The Additional Cashback Pool amount will be refreshed at the beginning of each calendar month and does not carry over.
3.3. Monthly Reset:
Accumulated Transaction volumes and earned cashback are subject to a monthly reset at the beginning of each calendar month.
4. Eligibility Criteria
Participation is limited to Eligible Customers, who are customers that meet all the criteria below:
4.1. Verified Luno customers who are situated in Indonesia and who are compliant with and meet the eligibility criteria set out in Luno’s Terms of Use;
4.2. Customers who perform Transactions via the Instant Buy and Instant Sell feature, excluding those transactions listed as Ineligible Transactions under Section 5;
4.3.Customers who achieve a minimum total Instant transaction volume of IDR 50,000,000 per calendar month and within the applicable Program Period, or such other threshold as may be determined and updated by Luno from time to time; and
4.4. The total eligible Instant Transaction volume will be calculated from the first day to the last day of each calendar month (both dates inclusive).
5. Ineligible Transactions
The following Transactions shall be deemed ineligible and will not be counted towards the calculation of Transaction volumes nor entitle any Eligible Customer to Rewards under this Program:
Exchange Transactions
Any trades carried out on the Luno Exchange (including both Maker and Taker orders) in any pairs are excluded.
USDT and USDC Transactions
Any Instant Buy or Instant Sell Transactions involving the USDT or USDC trading pairs are expressly excluded from this Program.
Bundle Transactions
Any purchases and sales conducted via the Bundles feature will not qualify for this Program.
Cancelled or Rejected Transactions
Any orders that are cancelled, reversed, failed, or not completed for any reason will not be counted.
Fraudulent or Suspicious Activity
Any Transactions that Luno, in its sole discretion, determines to be fraudulent, manipulative, abusive, or in violation of Luno’s Terms of Use will be disqualified and may result in disqualification from the Program entirely.
6. Reward Calculation and Distribution
Reward Calculation Period: Rewards will be calculated on a monthly basis, commencing on the first calendar day of the month and concluding on the last calendar day of the month.
Reward Metric: Rewards will be calculated based on the total eligible Instant Buy and Sell Transaction volume transacted by the Eligible Customer within the Reward Calculation Period.
Reward Payout: Accrued Rewards for a given month will be distributed within 20 business days following the end of the Reward Calculation Period. The Reward will be sent to the Eligible Customer’s registered email address with Luno in the form of a Bitcoin promo code.
It is the Eligible Customer’s responsibility to ensure their registered email address with Luno is correct and to redeem the promo code.
7. Subject to Change
Luno reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, adjust, or amend the Cashback Carnival Program or its Rules at any time.
8. Own Risk
To the extent permitted by law, Luno does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by the participants of the Program or any third parties arising out of or in connection with participating in the Program or accepting the Program Rewards.
9. Personal Information
Any personal information provided to Luno for the purposes of the Promotion (for example your name, address, telephone number and email address) will be treated strictly in accordance with Luno Privacy Policy. All competition entries that sign-up to Luno and expressly agree to receive marketing will be entered into a Luno marketing email database for Luno specific emails.
10. Governing Law
These Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Indonesian law and any disputes arising from the Cashback Carnival Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indonesia.
